When you order from sounds4games.com, you will be required to ACCEPT the End User License Agreement.
What exactly am I purchasing?
When you purchase and download sound samples from sounds4games.com, you are NOT obtaining OWNERSHIP of the sound samples - you are in fact purchasing a LICENSE to use the sound samples within your game productions or even musical compositions, whether or not your productions or compositions are released commercially. The original producer of the sound samples will always retain OWNERSHIP of the sound samples.
How can I use the soundmaterial?
You may use the sound samples in combination with other sounds within your game productions or musical compositions. You may release such productions/compositions commercially, without payment of any further fees or royalties for such usage. For example, if you are the original purchaser of one of our products (or you download sound samples from this site), and you use the soundmaterial from it to create a computer game, a cel phone game, other electronic games or entertainment products, a soundtrack, a television commercial or a track on a music CD; regardless of how many CDs are sold, how many times the television commercial is broadcast or playable games are downloaded, you would never have to pay the producer of the soundmaterial any additional royalties or license fees, because you already purchased a license to use the sound samples commercially.
What can't I use the sounds for?
You cannot use the sounds in isolation (i.e. when they are not used within your productions/compositions) as part of a commercially released project. For example, you cannot use the sounds to make another Sample CD. You cannot upload or download the soundmaterial to any database or server, unless they are used in a game production created by you.
Who else can use the sounds that I have purchased?
Nobody, unless they also purchased the same products or downloaded the same soundmaterial. Only the ORIGINAL PURCHASER has the right to use the sound samples. This means you CANNOT SELL or give the sounds to anyone else. If you do, and they use the sounds within a commercial release, they, or anyone associated with the distribution of the soundmaterial, may face legal action from the producer of the sounds. Many of these cases have resulted in multi-million dollar awards to the producer, and ruined the reputation and future job prospects of the composer. It is simply not worth using the sounds 'illegally'.
Do I have to credit the use of the sounds?
It is not required, but is always appreciated. If you included some of our soundmaterial in one of your products, it would be nice of you inform us via e-mail or even send us a product sample for review and archival purposes. Thank you very much in advance!
